Part I

Build a date calendar by numbering the faces of two cubes. That is, which numbers should you put on each of six faces on both cubes so that, properly turned, they will display the dates “01,” “02,” ..., “31.”

Part II

Now paint lower-case letters on three cubes to display “jan,” “feb,” ..., “dec.”
